Ashley McGuiggan – Physiotherapist
BExerSpSc, M.Phty
  • Ash completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at The University of Newcastle and a Master of Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney and has been working in sport and private practice since.
  • Ash worked for the Central Coast Mariners Academy and provided match day and training physiotherapist duties in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In 2024 he took on the role of Women’s senior NPL squad physiotherapist whilst managing injuries across the youth academies. These roles have afforded Ash invaluable hands-on experience in acute injury management and assessment.
  • Ash loves all sports and has a keen, personal interest in hiking and mountain climbing. In practice, Ash loves taking on a wide range of cases from high level sports injuries to the general aches and pains that life brings.
  • Ash has completed his APA level 1 & 2 Sports Physiotherapy courses with the long term goal to become a titled sports physiotherapist.
Elias Khabbaz – Principal Physiotherapist
B. App. Sc (Ex. Sp. Sci.). M. Phty, APAM
  • Completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney
  • Worked as the head Physiotherapist for the Sydney Kings (NBL) from 2014-2019. Previously worked as assistant Physiotherapist at the West tigers RFL.
  • Specific interests include Sporting injuries, Shoulder and knee injuries, Tendinopathies, Post-op rehabilitation and Spinal dysfunctions
  • Post graduate courses completed Sports level 1 and 2, Assessment and Treatment of the Pelvis 1 and 2, SIJ & Lumbar Spine, Sporting hip and groin level 1 and 2, Dry needling, ASCA level 1 + 2
Joseph Chakty - Exercise Physiologist
Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
  • Joseph completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Australian Catholic University.
  • Joseph has been working in sports and general strength and conditioning and exercise rehabilitation for over 7 years for people of all ages, including kids & adolescents and older adults.
  • Joseph has been working within the Canterbury Bulldogs Pathways System for the last 3 years as both a strength and conditioning and skills coach, assisting with athletic and skill development of players from Under 17’s to NSW Cup levels.
  • He loves all things sport and athletic development, but also has a keen interest in helping people of all ages begin their own exercise journeys to improve their health and develop life-long habits in training and exercise.
  • Joseph also holds a Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness from the Australian College of Sport & Fitness.
John Kanaan - Sports Remedial Massage Therapist
  • John is a passionate remedial massage therapist and aspiring physiotherapist, driven by a dual commitment to optimising well-being and a love for training.
  • He is dedicated to integrating hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of exercise science, ensuring comprehensive and effective care.
  • John specialises in deep tissue massage and myofascial techniques.
Angela Hatumale - Receptionist
  • Angela is currently in her final year of university, pursuing a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Management at the University of Technology Sydney. She passionately aspires to build a career as an Sports Events Coordinator, using her love for sports with academic skills.
  • Having played competitive team sports since a young age, Ange is very familiar with the teams around the Inner West, having played at a representative level for high school sports, as well as Inner Western Suburbs Netball Association and the Inner West Magpies Women’s teams.
  • From a young age, Ange has actively engaged in competitive team sports, cultivating an intimate familiarity with the dynamic of the sports landscape of the Inner West. Her sporting journey began at the Inner Western Suburbs Netball Association to high school sports at a representative level. She also currently plays for the Inner West Magpies Women’s teams.
